Annual Estimates

It is estimated that the Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) program during FY 2001 will serve 1,275 eligible individuals. Twenty-five of those determined eligible for VR will receive supported employment services provided under Part B of Title VI of the Act. During FY 2002 the VR program projects to serve 1,290 eligible individuals. It is anticipated that 26 of the eligible individuals served during FY 2002 will receive supported employment services provided under Part B of Title VI of the Act.

The VR program does not anticipate the need to implement an order of selection during FY 2001. It is also not expected that an order of selection will be implemented during FY 2002. Therefore, all eligible individuals will receive services.

It is estimated that $2,600,000 of Title I funds will be utilized to purchase VR services for eligible individuals during FY 2001. Another $75,000 of Title VI, Part B funds will be utilized to purchase time-limited services for those individuals in supported employment.

During FY 2002 it is estimated that $2,730,000 of Title I funds will be utilized to purchase VR services for eligible individuals. Another $78,000 of Title VI, Part B funds are expected to be utilized to purchase time-limited services for those individuals in supported employment.
