Annual Estimates

It is estimated that the Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) program during FY 2002 will serve 1,325 eligible individuals. Twenty-nine of those determined eligible for VR will receive supported employment services provided under Part B of Title VI of the Act. During FY 2003 the VR program projects to serve 1,335 eligible individuals. It is anticipated that 26 of the eligible individuals served during FY 2003 will receive supported employment services provided under Part B of Title VI of the Act.

We do not anticipate the need to implement an order of selection during FY 2002. We also do not expect that an order of selection will be implemented during FY 2003. Therefore, all eligible individuals will receive services.

We project that $2,400,000 of Title I funds will be utilized to purchase VR services for eligible individuals during FY 2002. Another $65,000 of Title VI, Part B funds will be utilized to purchase time-limited services for those individuals in supported employment.

During FY 2003 we project that $2,460,000 of Title I funds will be utilized to purchase VR services for eligible individuals. Another $68,000 of Title VI, Part B funds are expected to be utilized to purchase time-limited services for those individuals in supported employment.
