Virginia Industries for the Blind (VIB) is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for persons who are blind by providing opportunities for career development.

Established over eight decades ago as a not-for-profit organization offering vocational rehabilitation for blind Virginians, VIB is a self-funded division of the Virginia Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired (DBVI). VIB has kept current with the times by modernizing plant facilities, product lines and entry into the service industry. Today across the state, the two production facilities, thirteen satellites, office products and Military Base Supply Stores enable over 110 blind individuals to attain their vocational objectives.
